Scott Vickers TV & Film Director •Acting Coach•Mindset coach
Scott is an acclaimed director, writer and producer, whose 2019 micro-budget feature film Matriarch sent waves through the industry when bought by powerhouses Lionsgate, Sony and Sky.
A performer from a young age, he starred in his first professional show at the age of eight, and continued his stage success in Europe, New York and on cruise-ships before staring in Boogie Nights the Musical and the West End production of Chicago. As an actor he has had significant TV roles in shows such as Sirens, Foyles War, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and most notably as DC Will Cooper in BBC’s River City, appearing in over 150 episodes.
Scott has always had a curiosity and interest in psychology, dabbling with many approaches over the years. He has been an active participant and now practitioner of The Mind At Work methodologies through their public programme for over 5 years, and credits much of his recent success and leadership on set to the tools that we are now offering through INTERACT MINDSET.
Nicola Vickers Mindset training•Mindset coach
Nicola is an exceptional trainer, coach and facilitator. Her expertise lies in supporting people to transform the mindsets and behaviours that limit their performance, especially in challenging and highly pressurised contexts. She does this in the corporate world at The Mind At Work, a sought-after consultancy that blends commercial experience and psychological expertise to create sustainable organisational transformation in some of the worlds leading organisations.
She has trained and coached thousands of people in all sorts of performance related roles - medics, pilots, corporate executives, athletes and screen performers to name only a few. Nicola is an intuitive, deeply insightful and courageous coach. She expertly guides those she works with to understand the invisible attitudes and unconscious thinking patterns holding them back, and supports them to unleash the invisible power of purpose inside of them. She is committed to helping people be at their best when it really counts.
Andrew Gunn TV & Film Director •Acting Coach
Andrew is an award-winning film and television director whose diverse work encompasses high-end drama, comedy and short films. His passion for compelling and authentic performance is apparent from his work on high-profile dramas such as the Emmy-winning Life on Mars, Doctor Who, Survivors, Wild at Heart, Primeval and Get Even.
He has worked with Academy Award nominees and BAFTA award-winners, and counts amongst his collaborators Andy Serkis, Imelda Staunton, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, David Morrissey, John Simm, Ian Puleston-Davies, Felicity Jones, Sophie Okonedo, Ian Hart and Stephen Tomkinson.
His earlier work extends to comedy and continuing drama, most notably the BAFTA-winning sitcom Green Wing starring Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig, and popular soap Hollyoaks.
Andrew has conducted hundreds of live auditions with many of the leading casting directors and producers in the UK, working not only with seasoned artists but also with raw, young talent.
Terence Maynard Acting Coach • Stage and Screen • Director
Terence is a professional working actor who can currently be seen in BBC 3-part series Time and Netflix Original Shows: Last Days of American Crime, The Witcher and Cursed. He has stared in movies such as Guy Ritchie’s Revolver and Doug Liman’s Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise.
With over 25 years in the industry, Terence has amassed countless TV and stage credits. Notable roles include regular cast member Tony Stewart in Coronation Street, and Billy Flynn in the West End production of Chicago. Over the decades, he has stared in shows such as as EastEnders, The Bill, Casualty, Silent Witness, Holby City, Primeval, Young Dracula, Merlin and on stage roles such as Othello, Macbeth and Orsino.

Paul Gregory. Acting Coach • Stage and Screen • Shakespeare
Paul is a legendary Shakespearean actor with over 50 years of stage and screen experience. He has a legion of stage credits that include staring in nineteen productions over 11 years with the Royal National and Royal Shakespeare companies in roles such as Macbeth, Henry V and Hamlet. Mentored by Sir Laurence Olivier, Paul is now a highly regarded Shakespeare specialist, Oscar Wilde expert and voice coach.
A recognisable face in the UK, Paul has starred in shows such as Minder, Lovejoy, The Bill and countless commercials. Now based in LA, Paul has been gracing US screens in shows such as Get Shorty, True Blood, NCIS, The Romanoffs and animation movie The Queen’s Corgi. His film credits include Sir Kenneth Brannagh’s Henry V, Frankenstein, Namaste London and Sisterhood.
A revered acting coach, he has coached hundreds of aspiring and professional actors to successful bookings in London and Hollywood and helped many more to scholarships and assisted places in drama colleges including RADA, Mountview, LAMDA and Royal Central.

Jasmin De Main. Acting Coach • Stage and Screen • Voice and Accent Reduction
Jasmin has enjoyed a diverse career as an actress, host and voice and movement teacher specialising in accent reduction. She has also worked professionally as an actor for the past 15 years on television, film and theater in Australia, England, Germany and the United States. She is a graduate from the Acting program at The National Institute of Dramatic Art (Australia), and has two Master’s Degrees in English and Drama.
Jasmin has worked as a theater arts and drama teacher in the school system in Australia, Germany, the UK and the USA. She now resides in LA and is Head of Department for Voice and Accent Reduction for LAPAC. Jasmin works with many rising teen Disney stars and adult actors working in the entertainment industry coaching, audition preperation and working on accents for upcoming films.
As a member of MEAA Australia and SAG, Jasmin’s acting career highlights include guest roles on Australian television in McLeods Daughters and All Saints, Hessen TV (Germany) in Besetzt (Busy). Theater credits include: Threepenny Opera (English Theater Frankfurt Germany), The Importance of Being Earnest (International Theatre Germany), Connie Chang (Sydney Opera House/National Tour), The Memory of Water (Promenade Playhouse Santa Monica), Great Books for Woman (TV/Web Host), and The Good Parents (narrator Audio books).
Dawn Ellis. Mindset Coach • Performance Specialist • Voice Coach
Dawn brings unique insights to her work with performers as her career has spanned both the acting and coaching worlds. Her early career was a theatre and voice actor before moving into TV and radio production and finding her niche as a one-woman performance storyteller. Classical and comedy roles included Lady Macbeth, Rosalind, Eliza in Pygmalion, and leads in Alan Ayckbourn, Joe Orton and Top People in the West End. She is still a working storyteller and voice artist.
Dawn is a coach, consultant and trainer at The Mind At Work where she helps leaders deal with their stress and to communicate better. She is especially proud of her work with women and the ‘Imposter Syndrome’ – supporting them to stand up for themselves and ask for the salaries they deserve and to apply for the roles they want.
Passionate about supporting performers, Dawn ran ‘The Integrated Self’ workshop at the Actors Centre for five seasons, and founded ‘Know your Story Inside Out’ and ‘Storytelling HQ' to provide people with a way to explore their inner personal narrative and take control of the stories they tell about themselves.
Ade Bean. Director • Stage and Screen • Acting Coach
Ade is an award-winning television drama director with nearly forty years’ experience of working in theatre, radio and television, and has worked with actors such as Oliver Reed, Ian Holm, Diana Rigg, Samuel West, Richard E Grant, Susannah York, Bill Nighy, Micky Dolenz and David Jason.
He has directed the major soaps: Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Brookside and Doctors, as well as several continuing series such as Casualty, Heartbeat, Holby City, Murder in Mind, The Royal and Merseybeat. He is currently directing the Scottish BBC soap River City (under COVID restrictions!) His directing work has taken him to Los Angeles, Moscow, Bucharest and Dublin.
His early career was in Repertory and Community Theatre companies in Leicester, Coventry, London and the West End. He was also artistic director of the writing touring company Inner City in Hackney, and a producer at BBC Radio Drama before training as a television drama director with the BBC in the early nineties. He has also written for television (Heartbeat, Doctors) and has numerous commissions for BBC Radio Drama.
Ade regularly works with new directors, mentoring for DirectorsUK, as well as with actors, taking workshops and classes for The Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London), Mountview Theatre School, Stirling University and Act Up North. He also contributed a chapter on television acting to the recently-published Surviving Actors Manual (Nick Hern Books).
Julie Hannan Acting Coach • Stage and Screen
Julie has been a stage and screen actor for over 20 years. In 2018 she landed her first lead film role as antagonist Agnes Fairbairn in Lionsgate’s Matriarch, and her television credits include Elizabeth is Missing, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Fresh Meat. She has countless stage credits that include staring as Mrs Havisham in Great Expectations, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Mrs Bumble in Oliver and Mrs March in Little Women.
Julie has worked in all aspects of the industry including casting and serving as an agent but her real passion lies in teaching and supporting actors. She has an affinity for supporting young and emerging talent and many times over, she is credited by those she supports for her part in them receiving an offer from their desired stage school.
